more must sees...

So it seems that Portland is indeed a go-to place. A fella who gave me a ...uhm...colorful DVD was originally from upstate New York and suggested the hot and cold springs (melding) in Yellowstone. A beautiful, yet lightly inked, young lady suggested South Dakota and re-affirmed Jim's rec of Wall Drug. Then came a suggestion from a bud of Jacob's...Nelson, BC. I might need more time. Tomorrow, maybe a swing by the Saturday Market (on Sunday) prior to departing for the ferry. Took a bunch of pics today (in motion) without realizing the SD card was in the computer. A few to add, perhaps tomorrow. Laundry in certain jeapordy at this point.

BTW, the Lucky Devil Lounge is a good way to while a few hours after the fireworks. Reasonable drinks, smoke-less and pretty sweet mac-n-cheese. (and hence breaking one of my long standing rules)

Met another fellow tonight with a 60s Vespa that his wife claims is his 'recovery' (as opposed to my joke about 'gateway') bike. There are cool wives like that out there...he has 4 other scoots at home. The persistent affect of the IPA had me sufficiently distracted and thus fail to inquire if she had sisters. Garmin has indeed transformed the cab-driving world; tough reverse routes are not nearly identical. The Russian cab drivers, seemed a little less chatty than my Armenian buddy from earlier today.
